Hi, I'm Col and I qualified as a driving instructor, at the first attempt, in October 2009, and founded PASSERS Driver Training in Jan 2010.
From the start I avoided the formal 'school type' approach and focussed instead on creating a relaxing, informal atmosphere in the car because that's the kind of vibe I prefer.
Over the last 16 years I've seen lot of people who have never driven a car before get understandably nervous when they first get behind the wheel, and often wonder if they are ever going crack it. My answer is always, don't worry, if it was that difficult there wouldn't be that much traffic on the roads. These are not empty words, it's true.
Driving, like any new skill, is built up bit by bit and all you need to do is follow the process. That's what all those drivers before you have done.
